The 38mm coffee pods are a reduced format that can only be used on specific coffee machines. They contain single-servings of coffee and should not be confused with ESE 44mm pods, which have different dimensions. To check which pod is suitable for your machine, simply measure with a ruler the diameter of the part of the casing that contains the coffee (not the outer edge, just the part with the coffee inside): if it measures 38 millimetres, it means that your machine uses this format.
