STARBUCKS® Caffè Verona was created for a restaurant in Seattle as Jake's Blend, in 1975.

The restaurant's customers loved it so much, and STARBUCKS® decided to make it available in its stores as 80/20 Blend. Recently STARBUCKS® has decided to rename it as Caffè Verona, as the city of lovers. STARBUCKS® capsules by Nespresso® allow tasting the best STARBUCKS® blends at home using a Nespresso® coffee machine. Caffè Verona capsules are made with a strongly roasted 100% Arabica blend and are perfect for making an espresso coffee with hints of dark chocolate.
